Scope
These terms apply to purchases made on this website: knives sold from stock, knives made to order, places on knife making classes, and the reservation fee for custom work.
Prices
All prices are shown in SEK and include 25 % Swedish VAT. For orders to countries outside the EU we do not charge VAT on goods or shipping. Classes always include VAT.
Import VAT, customs duties and fees charged by your country are not included and are paid by you. Read more under Shipping & Returns.
Orders
An order becomes binding when the payment has gone through and you receive an order confirmation by email. If a price or a stock figure is obviously wrong, we may correct the error and cancel the order, and any amount already paid is refunded in full.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and are never stored by us. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK), and that is the amount the seller receives. At checkout you may be offered to pay in your own currency instead. Stripe then converts the price at its own exchange rate, which includes a conversion fee of 2-4 % that you pay, and shows you the amount before you confirm. You can always choose to pay in SEK.
Products
Knives are sold only to people aged 18 or over. You confirm this at checkout.
Every knife is made by hand. Grain, colour and finish vary between pieces, and small differences from the photographs are part of the work rather than a fault.
Custom orders
A custom project starts with a request and a reservation fee of 500 SEK, which secures a place in the queue and is deducted from the final price. Details are agreed before work begins.
The final payment is made through a payment link that Fredrik sends you. It covers the knife price minus the reservation fee, plus shipping to the country you gave when you booked.
Classes
A class place is booked for a set date. The booking is binding when the payment has gone through, and a class place is not covered by the right of withdrawal.
Delivery, withdrawal, returns and complaints
Shipping, delivery times, the right of withdrawal, returns, refunds and complaints are described under Shipping & Returns, which is part of these terms.
Liability
A knife is a tool with an edge and is sold for use by an adult. We are not liable for damage caused by misuse or modification. This does not limit the rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as interruptions at carriers, fire, illness or supply failures. You will be told as soon as we know that an order is affected.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. This does not take away the protection that mandatory consumer law in your own country gives you. If something goes wrong, contact us first. If we cannot agree, you can take the matter to a general court.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when the order was placed.
